Bruggemeyer Library Cover to Cover Reading Program

The Monterey Park Bruggemeyer Library Cover to Cover Reading Program will run from October 3 – November 14. This year, the Cover to Cover Reading Program will be hosted entirely online. Beginning October 3, 2020, children can register for the program by visiting: montereypark.beanstack.org. Children who read five books will receive a certificate for a free burger from In-N-Out.

Looking For Volunteers With Level 3 Clearance

We are planning some fun and interactive workshops for grades K-8th. These workshops will take place in the afternoon during the week (dates TBD). If you would like to help lead a workshop, please email us at workshops@margueritapta.org.

These are voluntary workshops that are devoted to helping our children have fun while learning and spending extra time with their peers. The more volunteers we have, the more workshops we can offer. Email us if you can help!

Community members are invited to participate in these two virtual town hall style meetings to meet their candidates and learn where they stand on key issues facing Alhambra.  You will need to RSVP for the events separately if you wish to attend.

9/10 Distributions Postponed

"Please be advised that we have to postpone today's supply distribution for 1-4th grade due to the unhealthy air quality. The health and safety of our staff is very important. The drive thru distribution for 1st through 3rd grade (including the personal belongings of our 4th graders) will be postponed. You will receive a memo from Mr. Kohout with the new date and time.

Our Fall Book Fair has been canceled. If you have Scholastic Vouchers that are expiring in October of this year, hold on to them and we will honor the vouchers when we have our next book fair.
