First ROCKstar Student Drive Thru Recognition

Marguerita held their first ROCKstar Student Drive through recognition earlier this week.  They will have one each month following the virtual ROCKstar student assemblies.

Students received a certificate, husky pencil pouch, a food coupon and they had their photo taken with Rocky, our mascot.  

Marguerita huskies R.O.C.K. with respect, ownership, cooperation and kindness.

We love all the creative ways our schools are staying connected during Distance Learning!

Learn to Draw Disney Characters

HEY HUSKIES! Learn to draw some of your favorite Disney characters in this weekly virtual drawing workshop, sponsored by the Marguerita PTA! Every Thursday from 3-4pm come Draw with Gio! 7 workshops in all. Each week, Gio will teach you how to draw using different Disney favorites. Attend just one, or attend them all! All you need is a pencil and paper!

THIS WEEK: Gio will teach you how to draw Jack Skellington, Zero, and Sally!

Photography Workshop

We are offering a virtual Photography Workshop for 6-8th graders on November 5th, 3-4pm! It will be taught by parent leader Mr. Ming of Humanist Films. All you need is a device that can take pictures (smart phone, tablet, digital camera, etc.). If there are more than 10 students interested, we will begin a waitlist and open up a second workshop.

Art Workshop for 2nd Graders

We have an Art Workshop for 2nd graders! It will be taught by Mrs. Eng and parent leader Mr. Michael. The workshop will meet for 3 consecutive weeks - 10/27, 11/3, and 11/10 from 3-4pm. We will accept the first 20 students and will begin a waitlist if there are more signups. Please attend all 3 sessions if possible if you sign up. Supplies will be provided if needed and can be picked up at Marguerita at a later date/time.
